Professional Algae Removal Service
Fast, effective treatment to eliminate algae and restore your pool to crystal clear condition
Algae Removal & Green Pool Cleaning
Algae is one of the most common pool problems for homeowners, and it can take over fast. When your chlorine drops, filtration slows down, or the water balance slips even slightly, algae can turn a clear pool cloudy, green, or even dark swamp-color. Once algae starts growing, it spreads quickly and becomes much harder to clean without professional help.
At DeepEnd, we offer fast and effective algae removal that restores your pool to clear, safe water. We diagnose the cause, treat the algae with the right chemicals, brush all surfaces thoroughly, and clean your filter to remove all remaining debris. Our goal is to fix the immediate issue and prevent it from coming back. Whether your pool is slightly cloudy or completely green, we can bring it back to life safely, correctly, and as quickly as possible.
Most Common Types of Algae We Treat

Green Algae
The most frequent type, appearing as cloudy green water or slimy patches on walls. Forms quickly when chlorine drops or circulation stops. Responds well to shock treatment and proper filtration.

Yellow/Mustard Algae
Appears as yellowish-brown patches, usually on shaded areas or pool floors. Chlorine-resistant and easily mistaken for dirt or staining. Requires specialized algaecide and aggressive brushing.

Black Algae
Dark blue-green spots with protective layers that penetrate pool surfaces. Extremely chlorine-resistant with deep roots. Requires intensive treatment including surface scraping and extended chemical exposure.

Preventing Future Algae Growth
✓ Maintain Proper Chemistry
✓ Clean Your Filter
✓ Run Your Pump Daily
✓ Weekly Shock Treatment
Keep chlorine levels at 1-3 ppm and pH between 7.2-7.6. Test water 2-3 times weekly during summer.
Brush pool walls and floors weekly to prevent algae from establishing colonies.
✓ Regular Brushing
Backwash or clean filters regularly. A clogged filter can't remove algae spores effectively.
Circulate water 8-12 hours per day. Stagnant water is algae's best friend.
Shock your pool weekly during swimming season to oxidize contaminants and kill algae spores.
✓ Control Phosphates
Test and treat for phosphates, which are algae's primary nutrient source.
